📋 Position Overview

Seeking someone with a strong interest in running to provide expert customer service and product knowledge in our specialty running store. Help customers of all levels find the right gear to achieve their running goals. Any experience with running or walking guidance/sales is a plus. Ideally this role would be able to work with us for ~20 hours per week.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assess running needs through effective questioning
• Provide product recommendations based on running style and goals
• Conduct gait analysis and professional shoe fittings
• Process sales transactions and handle returns/exchanges
• Maintain current knowledge of inventory, pricing, and promotions
• Keep sales floor organized, clean, and properly stocked
• Assist with inventory management and merchandise displays
• Support store events and community engagement activities

✅ Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years retail/customer service experience preferred
• Running experience or strong interest in the sport
• Strong communication skills
• Comfortable with POS systems and basic math, Shopify experience is a bonus
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds
• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends

Seeking a detail-oriented individual to manage the behind-the-scenes operations of our specialty running store. This role focuses on web presence, inventory management, digital marketing, and ecommerce operations (Shopify) to support our retail success while being on the store floor for a couple of hours per week. Ideally this role would be able to work with us for ~20 hours per week.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

• Manage and update the Shopify ecommerce website, including product listings, pricing, and promotions
• Help direct social media direction and posting
• Fulfill online orders, process returns, and manage customer inquiries related to ecommerce
• Coordinate product photography and content creation for both the website and social media
• Assist with inventory management as it pertains to online stock levels and product information
• Provide support on the retail floor, assisting customers, processing sales, and maintaining store presentation as needed
• Track online sales performance and contribute to digital marketing strategies
• Assist with promotional planning and execution for both online and in-store initiatives

✅ Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
• 1+ years experience in retail operations, inventory management, or digital marketing
• Proficiency with inventory management systems and spreadsheet software
• Experience with social media platforms and content creation
• Basic understanding of ecommerce platforms (Shopify preferred)
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Interest in running and athletic retail environment
